Business Development Manager - Cloud based Financial Management
 
Our Client is a growing advisory services firm and software re-seller based in Fort Worth, TX that focuses on transforming their client’s operations through technology upgrades and business process improvements.  While we help clients across multiple industries, they specialize in the alternative investment space – including private equity, hedge funds and family offices. 

 

In order to accelerate growth, they are seeking a full-time Business Development Manager.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and profitability. The Business Development Manager will oversee sales, marketing, and business development resources to identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients.

 

The Company will provide both technical and industry-specific training as needed depending on the experience and skill-set of the candidate.  Occasional travel may be required.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients.

  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and business development resources to ensure alignment of business objectives.

  • Maintain and optimize use of firm CRM software.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the financial management software industry.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.

  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.

  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and expanding customer base.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience selling cloud-based financial management software is a plus.
